Would you like to teach at a high-performing Reggio-inspired Preschool/Pre-K program this summer? We offer an opportunity to lead a week-long summer camp July 30th to August 3rd, 2018.

Santa Fe School for the Arts & Sciences is an independent EL Education school serving 137 students in preschool to 8th grade.Arts & Sciences also offers a popular summer enrichment program for campers ages 3 to 15.In its 18th year, our school is recognized nationally for its programs and boasts a high average teacher retention rate for full-time staff -- 10 years.

The Position

We’re looking for a dynamic, innovative, knowledgeable early childhood education teacher who has experience planning and implementing a fun and engaging summer program for children ages 3 and 4.We offer up to $1,000 in compensation for leading the week-long camp, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.plus 5 hours planning time.Successful candidate would be paid for leading the camp and would be supported by a trained teaching assistant and a student intern for a maximum class of 16 campers.

Qualifications and Attributes

  • Early Childhood Credential
  • More than 2 years’ experience working in an early childhood classroom setting
  • A passion for early childhood education
  • Affinity, enthusiasm and understanding of the developmental stages of 3 and 4-year-olds.
  • Strong work ethic
  • Sound judgement and emotional maturity
